If you have a cat or dogt, chances are good that you have had to try and pick up cat and dog hair from furniture in your house, whether from sofas, armchairs and any number of other pieces of furniture. But it is not always an easy task to get that hair off, aside from picking it up one piece at a time (been there, done that!) There are some tricks you can do to make it easier.
Vacuum
While this doesn’t work on all types of furniture, give it a quick once-over when you do your regular vacuuming. While this won’t get it all up, it can get up some of the hair, so you might as well do it while you have the vacuum out.
Pledge Fabric Sweeper for Pet Hair
This is a new item from Pledge that picks up pet hair off furniture (and clothing!) similar to a lint roller. Because it is a new item, watch for coupons, and also watch for the price to drop if the item is a big hit for Pledge and sticks around (no pun intended!)
Lint rollers
Pick up bulk lint rollers from places like Target and Walmart, or get the smaller sized ones you get free at some hotels, and use it for pet hair. The price is more economical than what you find the Pledge Fabric Sweeper for Pet Hair.
Packing tape
If you are in a pinch with unexpected company arriving momentarily and your cat has been lounging on the sofa all day, wrap some packing tape around your hand with the sticky side out and use it to pick up the dog hair.
