For best results, suede should be dry cleaned. But obviously, some items made of suede just aren’t easily dry cleaned, or you can’t afford the expense.
First, always test treat suede on an unseen area (ie. the underside of a cushion, under the hem, etc) to ensure it will remove properly and not affect the color.
You can remove dry stains with a regular pencil eraser. Rub gently with the eraser.
For wet stains, simply apply a paper towel on top of the stain and press to soak the liquid. Do not rub or use any stain removers. Wet stains should be dry cleaned, and any use of stain removers can react with the dry cleaning process.
