Foam pillows are one of those annoying things to clean. Unfortunately they have a tendency to absorb smells, which requires you to be able to clean them. Fortunately it is not difficult to clean them, however it might take a couple of days.
Remove foam pillow from the pillowcase, and then wash it in the washing machine with cold water or warm water. It is best to use liquid detergents to get the really clean, as sometimes it is hard for the powdered detergent when you simply have a pillow in the washing machine.
If all the soap isn’t removed from the pillow, run it through the rinse cycle a second time.
You need to air dry a foam pillow. They can be a fire hazard if placed in the dryer. You can speed up the drying process by resting the pillow in the sunshine to dry, or by an open window. You can also use a fan in the house, provided it is not a heater.
Because of the density, it can sometimes take a day or two for the pillows to be thoroughly dried. To increase the likelihood it is dry by bedtime, toss it in the washing machine first thing in the morning. Enjoy your freshly laundered pillow!
