Removing Smell from Garbage Disposal

If you use your garbage disposal a lot, you can find that it starts to smell, especially if you are placing certain kinds of foods in it. But there is one easy way to keep your garbage disposal smelling great and not smell up the entire kitchen!

When you start to notice a smell, throw in about 1/4 of a lemon cut into chunks and run it through the disposal. Repeat if you have a really smelly one!

You can also try using limes, grapefruits and other citrus fruits. The rinds clean the blades while the citrus works its magic.
