Just because you are making your own homemade cleaner, doesn’t mean it has to smell like it! This is a great scented version without spending the money on the new expensive “aromatherapy” all-purpose cleaner.
First, you need scented bleach. You will pay slightly more for it, but the average bottle will be enough for a year’s worth of all-purpose cleaner.
Now, in a spray bottle combine 1/4 cup of scented bleach, a few squirts of plain dish soap (or use scented in a complementary scent) then fill up the bottle with water. Shake to combine and before using. Spray and use as you would an all-purpose cleaner, and it will leave an aromatherapy scent rather than the usual bleach smell.
Some aromatherapy combinations to try:
Vanilla bleach with green apple dish soap
Vanilla bleach with orange dish soap
Mountain fresh bleach with lavender dish soap
