Apple Cider Vinegar Detox bath recipe
While not as popular as a ginger detox bath, the apple cider vinegar detox bath is great for athritis, gout and other inflammatory body ailments.
When pouring your bath, add 1-2 cups of pure apple cider vinegar. Soak in the tub for up to 30 minutes.
Remember, hot water is best for all detox baths, as hot water is what is needed
to help detoxify as it opens the pores of the skin. Keep water handy as well as a washcloth,
as this bath will make you sweat! Drink some water while you
are running the bath too.
Dry yourself off
after the bath, but don't be surprised if you continue sweating
for a couple of hours afterwards. You may find the vinegar detox bath makes you sleepy,
so you may want to head straight to bed after you hop out of the tub. Be sure to drink
water before going to bed, and have water handy if you wake
up in the night so you can keep hydrated. Be sure to check with your doctor if you
have any conditions such as a heart condition or high blood
